Has anyone ever bought these, at 25.2 in in diameter they are .5 in. smaller that the 225/55/16 and .3 in larger than the 225/50/16's

That's not bad. I tell you, it's a hundred times better than buying 225/60 16 tires. The lower profile you go, the more serious a compound and less sidewall squirm. And they would work better on the slicers than the 225/55 16.

yeah they might be more cost effective than the 225/55's, but you'll have ZERO traction especially with that small of a sidewall. Not to mention it will look weird cause your fender gap will increase by the amount your sidewall decreases. Id go with the 225/55/16's but thats just me. To each his own. thumb
