Hello, I own a 2015 and a 2016 SHO, both non PP, my 2016 has already had a new transmission put in due to the solenoid body failing and breaking the torque converter, but with the new transmission I seem to be having the same issues, Solenoid body D stuck on, and it throws itself into limp home mode, only until I turn off the car and turn it back on, and then it acts fine for a few weeks and does it again. The solenoid body for the new trans was programmed correctly on the PCM, and livernois gave me a factory tune but it’s still having issues, I’m winding if it’s something to do with the TCM or the wiring harness, but I don’t know how to troubleshoot that, any tips would be greatly appreciated as the 2016 is meant to be my daily

not sure how the solenoid body broke the torque converter, ... usually the electronics will fail first then the hardware. or the hardware breaks independently. but if fluid has not been maintained, all bets are off.

TCM = solenoid body assembly/sba, one and the same.

if the sba is not the culprit, you have to look at the wiring from the sba to the pcm and possibly the pcm itself. with tunes, if loaded frequently enough, the pcm has been known to be bricked. if just the sba related circuitry has failed, you may be able to get the pcm repaired at a place like circuitboardmedics.com.

check the pins on the wiring harness on both ends as well as the pcm. there are a few cases of the wires coming loose from the pins on the VCT solenoids in these MYs, may be the same in this case also.
