2016 SHO passenger side xenon headlight not working.

Sent you the part numbers by vin look up. If your getting someone to sell you one of those lamps at 500 bucks a pop. Thats a darn good price.

I just noticed the wire from the bulb to the module bolted to the lamp is available seperatly. You may want to try swapping it if you're comfortable with it.

So I got the new part and installed it. And it's doing THE SAME THING.

I tested the harness again, and everything seems right:
Black/Gray: 12v- always present
Brown/Red: 12+ always present
Blue/Green: 12+ on when headlights are switched on, off otherwise
Purple/Orange?: 12+ on when high beams are switched on, off otherwise

Is it possible I've got two headlights with the exact same defect?

Is it possible autozone sold me the wrong ballast unit and that's the cause of all of this?

Just pulled the driver side and plugged it in on the passenger side, and it works perfectly. So it's definitely not the wiring. I guess I'm going to swap the ballasts now that I've got them both out.

I'm ok with that. Plus I'll surely have to pay return shipping. But losing $150 is way better than losing $500.

Sell it to that "L" vendor.

They'll make it the best ballast ever (without ever doing any work on it at all) and call it "Bright Storm".

They'll sell it back to you at a 300% markup and then you re-install it and......

KA-BLOOEY!
