Dont know if this will help anyone. From what I have seen you guys are all a lot more accomplished with a wrench in your hand than I am.
Having just bought her with 47k miles I have no way of knowing whether any fluids have been changed. Took it to an AAMCO.
They said my vehicle has a drain plug and a fill plug. That's information I had already read on this forum. They also said it has a cooling unit for the PTU and as a result they need to remove the one Cat and a sensor to access the refill plug.
Hoping because it has a cooler maybe it wont be so bad. They are charging me 258.11 for labor and fluid.
Anyone think I'm getting ripped off?
I had hoped to be able to do this maintenance myself in the future, but removing the Cat sounds like a challenge.
The guy showed me the instructions right on the screen...idk.
