A 2013 SHO Police Interceptor with 135k miles has caught my eye. It is pretty cheap, but the owner says the crank shaft sensor needs replaced. His description of the problem is when the accelerator is floored from a standing position the car hesitates for about three second. My other concern is the mileage. It was way under book value. Any advice.

My 2013 had that 3-second hesitation randomly. It was a bug in the PCM calibration. A reflash of a later calibration fixed it. It was literally quite dangerous. Go to pull out in traffic, and it would just sit there and than WHAM take off like a bat out of ****. Does it do it all the time? Or randomly?

I'll have to check with him whether it is random or not. He does have it flashed with a tune, so it would make sense, but I know little about these cars. Thank You for the reply.
