Your radar detector looks pretty close to the blue tint, just so you know that tint can block out certain radar frequencies. Looks good though, i have the 9500i, it's a great detector. What kind of sub is that?

Its a JL W3v3 12". In a custom 1.75 sq/ft box.
The 9500ix is just under the strip.
This is my work/fun car. I cover 4 states with my job. It has saved me the cost of that detector already.

What side did you run the wires on the front pillars for your Passport? I am going to hard wire my Valentine 1, wondering what side the fuse block is and if there are issues with airbags or anything. Thanks!

The left pillar. IT was very easy to remove.
I can sadly, but honestly say i did not do it, i watched it be done. I watched my friend (who is an electrical engineer) solder it to possibly the ignition wire? Not sure if that's the one he used or not. Anyhow, the passport turns on and off with the car. I highly recommend getting a mute button that is accessible to your reach. It is mounted just under the tint line.

SHOsc, Thanks for the info on wiring, that helps me out. I had the same thing done to my Pontiac G8 GT, the dealer did mine because in that front pillar is a airbag, did not want to screw it up! I too would not drive a performance car without a radar detector, nice to know where our police friends are! My setup now in the G8 comes on when the car starts and off when you take the key out, pretty cool.....Enjoy your car, can't wait for mine to get here:wave:
