Just went over 200,000 today on my 94 ATX. Some history: bought the car in 2001 with 83,000. Car has only been to a shop for alignments, all other work done by me. It is a crank cancer suvivor. Still have the original rod bearings which will make some cringe but have read too many horror stories on this forum over 14 years with broken Y pipe bolts that it scares me. Still has original transmission which I have completely flushed 4 times since owning it and no problems with it to this day. ABS light comes and goes which doesn't bother me since I'm old and grew up without them. Love these cars-had an 89 from 2003 to 2012 that I wish I hadn't sold which only saw a shop for a clutch. I have lots of parts on the shelf for external repairs but if anything internal to the engine or the transmission goes, I will be sadly done with SHO's. Haven't seen a Gen 1 or 2 in the Denver area in many months, except at the pick and pull. Thanks to this forum and the following vendors for keeping her on the road. SHONUT, RCM Automotive, and ShoSource for varies items over the years.

Nice story.
Now you have to update the mileage in your signature.
You are right, the cars are disappearing fast.
Always take changing those exhaust studs to a muffler shop that has been in business for a few years, they have some kind of magic.
