Hi all. I'm new here. I have had my 2010 SHO now for two weeks. It is everything everyone says it is and more. This really is a great ride, and I'm glad to be a part of your SHO group. I replaced a 2007 Acura TL Type S with the SHO. Here are some photos. I did every option, minus the performance package, simply because I wanted the interior goodies more and I couldn't do both. I bought the car sight unseen after ordering it back in May. This past weekend I installed the 3M Clear Bra and window tinting should be some time next week. Let me know if you have any questions!!

Dear God. Here's a question: Can I become a relative?

Is the Atlantis Green really as dark as it looks in the pictures or does it actually look green in person? Every picture I have seen of it so far makes it hard to distinguish it from black. I need to see it in person.

Yikes, the second pic makes the Elise look like a 1/2 size model... :|

First time I've seen an Atlantis Green SHO, cool! I'd prefer if it's more green and less black though. This is the colour I want if I were to get one. :thumb:

P.S. Was your Type S a 6 speed? How does the SHO's interior compare to the TL's interior?

Thanks guys. First, the Lotus is tiny. Go-Cart tiney. Although I am 6'1" and fit into it without any problems. It is a really fun car though.

The Atlantis green is very dark. Although it is loaded with metal flake, so in the day time, in bright sunlight it looks very green, sometimes even grey. It's a great color, but MUCH darker than the website made it appear when I ordered it. If you want to see the color in person, take a ride to a Ford dealer and look at a Fusion. It is becoming a popular color on that car if you can't find a 2010 Taurus.

It's really hard to compare the interiors of the SHO and the TL Type S. The TL had much nicer materials inside, however developed a LOT of squeeks and rattle very early on. This drove me nuts. Fit and finish on the Taurus is better than the TL, but again materials on the TL were nicer. The SHO is also loaded with cool features that I have become very used to over the last week, like adaptive cruise, 10gb hard drive/juke box, seat massagers, which by the way are in the butt AND seat back. Early literature showed the seat massage being only in the bottom part of the seat.

There is one thing that REALLY erks me about the SHO. That is the drivers side floor is VERY small. I like to bend my legs up while I have the cruise set sometimes, and the floor in this car just does not allow that. I don't know if anyone else has noticed this, but it REALLY bothers me.

Hopefully the floor issue does not break it for you, otherwise sounds like you are pleased. It is SOOOO nice to see people of your distinctive tastes (a Lotus and a Lambo) choosing the SHO. There are a number of Ford GT owners that are picking these up. Pretty sweet to have a TT Ford daily driver, and then jump into your TT Ford supercar for the weekend (lots of these guys with monster HP converted jobs). Let us know how you like the car as you get more miles on it, and THANK THANK THANK you for purchasing. I really feel like Ford is making a good turn these past couple years, and when projects like this succeed, it only breeds more success.

Nice SHO and nice collection. Atlantis green looks good.
That pic next to the elise is hilarious, it looks fake.
thanks for the pics. It must be amazing to drive such powerful, and good handling cars. Enjoy!

Back in Michigan ... again.
Welcome to the forum

I suspect that that folks with a higher level of automotive ownership will become commonplace around these parts

Here's my question: Will the Lotus fit in the trunk of the SHO?

It looks like the opening in the lower air dam was specifically made for consumption of smaller cars like the lotus.

Two very nice cars though and two totally different driving experiences. I think you'll have a lot of fun switching up the feel. Thanks for the pics. :thumb:

Thanks for the pics! I'm really digging the stock ride height. FINALLY a Ford that sits higher in back than it does in front from the factory!

Hey all, thanks a bunch. Another thing I found interesting was within the SYNC feature. While driving yesterday, it (the display) asked me if I wanted to send a vehicle health report. So, naturally, I said yes. Well, it dialed into somewhere and sent a report about the car. I have yet to get a diagnostic report back, but I did think that was kinda cool.

And... the Lotus could almost fit in the trunk of the SHO. The Lotus is less than HALF of the size and weight of the Taurus. 4360lbs, Vs 1980lbs. Crazy, especially when you see them together!

I believe that the report is either mailed or e-mailed to you. Did your salesman set you up on the sync website?
