Back in Michigan ... again.
While driving yesterday, it (the display) asked me if I wanted to send a vehicle health report. So, naturally, I said yes. Well, it dialed into somewhere and sent a report about the car. I have yet to get a diagnostic report back, but I did think that was kinda cool.

The last test car I drove did the same thing. Having been flogged by journalists for months (I discovered later it was the same SHO C&D tested with the TCCA at GingerMan) I figured it was popping up because something was wrong. Either that, or it was Ford's way of keeping tabs on who does what with the car

Have you driven the Lotus at any of the autocrosses at Devens, MA?? The NESHOC group does some breakfasts nearby your location. Make sure to come join once in a while...

I'd seen your posting of this car on Lotus Talk , awhile ago,and thought for sure it was black. I'm plotting on a Atlantis Green SHO ,myself....Have you heard that Hennessey has performance and mod upgrades due out in the next couple of months?

I wonder if a paint color like this would be slightly easier to maintain than the Tuxedo Black..

No.

Any dark color is rough to keep looking good.

Dark blue is the same to maintain as my two black SHOs.

The rims are the big defining feature of the car. They look very aggressive and set the car apart. They are pretty well the only hint of what lies beneath the surface. They remind me a little bit of the 4-door Masseratti, which isn't bad company.

Watkins Glen has numerous open track events that you can take your Lotus out on the track. The Porsche club events are fairly inexpensive, relative to others. I could send you some links if you're interested.
