1995 mtx stock sub woofer mounting??

Hello,

I am a new SHO owner (1995 mtx), and received the car with the factory sub woofer box in the trunk. I have a question about mounting the sub - the sub box has 4 nuts with bolts attatched and I have 4 bolts with nuts already mounted to the deck in my trunk where the sub goes. Am I missing something to mount this? Or, do I just happen to have 2 sets of mounting hardware?

Also, the factory sub was blown, but I did try repairing the cone. I'll let you all know how this worked if anyone is interested.

I'm thinking of going to the JL 6w0 4 replacement if my reconning doesn't sound great. Anyone like the JL 6w0 4 as sub as a replacement?

Stock 19 year old sub is shot.

Depending on what funds you have to work with go single 12". I have a fiberglass box in the side of my trunk with 1 12" and it sounds great. Not too much but still enough to feel.

I refoamed mine about 5 years ago. It's still going strong.
