Ever since I got this sho the air bag light has been on. Iv put it off for a few months. Haven't worried about it but it's just a good feeling to know Everything works.

Anyways I know you would look for flashes to count but my light stays solid. Any thoughts anyone?
Bad battery?

It usually means that the diagnostic monitoring box is unplugged / disconnected (near your glove box).
There is a 2 digit code that indicates the fuse in the box is burned, and there is a Radio Shack fix that has been discussed on the forum that you can search if that turns out to be true.
Easiest fix is to get another box, unless it has been disconnected to stop the blinking of a code that shows another issue.

Thanks. I'll look to see if I can plug it back in for codes.

It is guaranteed that it will not go off while the light is on or if it is flashing. If you plug the unit in again, or you get a different unit, and thee is no light or no flashing, you are ready to resume normal operation.

You will be in the passenger seat when you reconnect this unit, so keep low.

You could unplug the front crash sensor on the rad top, and the one in the center of the cowl, which will initiate a blinking light, and plug them in while standing outside.

I have no idea that if a crash sensor has been activated, it resets itself. But my experience suggests if it is undamaged, it is good. I have never had an issue with the safer sensor in the kick panel near the emergency brake pedal, so there is no use in looking for it.

the crash sensors in these cars are the "ball held by magnet" type so if it does get "activated" it will reset itself. the later ones are not so repair-friendly...

How dose one unplug the blue unit?
I can barely get my hand in there. Also everything I see looks plugged in. It's possible for just the unit to go bad?

yes, any computer can go bad.

iirc, you drop the glove box door to gain access to it.
