1990 sho

Hey all. I'm going to pick up my very first SHO tomorrow. It's my boss' car. Its blood red with blk leather and a 5 spd. Some kind of plus package and only 33,000 miles. All for 5000.00 dollars. He said that it sometimes kicks the shifter out of gear and some dash problems. Does this sound like a good deal? I would use as a daily driver when no snow is on the ground. Tell me what you think. Thanks alot.

welcome....I guess if the body is in mint condition and it is a true plus and odometer is correct I would think so. I heard of these cars with 50,000 actual miles getting close to $10,000. I know alot of other guys on here will chime in that are much more familiar, so wait for some more responses. There is a lot of knowledge to be had from these guys

Yeah, the body is mint. No rust. I may be wrong about the year. Miles are correct. I have known this guy for 14 yrs. I saw the car 10 yrs ago when he bought it from a friend for 10K with 2300 miles. I've not seen the car for a few years but others I work with that have seen it say it's still mint.

Find someone who knows SHOs (or become one) and get everything checked out.

I may need a complete 60K as well as R&R all the rubber hoses/suspension/etc bits. Great cars if you don't just drive them into the ground. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of shreaded crankshaft

And well you need to post pictures of such a car here so we can all admire it.

I'd pick this car up if its the real deal, not even drive it, fix all the problems, detail the **** out of it, and sell it for a profit......

I bought mine in 09/08/2009 for 2K w/ 95K miles in mint condition

new tires, brakes, radiator, LH CV axle, battery in last 18 months and 3k miles





I got 4K into her now
new struts, windshield, RH CV axle installed

60K parts upper & lower here, clutch, Plugs & wires, CPS, Frt & Rear crankseal
water pump all waiting to be installed

still need lower radiator hose, thermostat, silicone intake hoses
