Hey all, so just got my 13 SHO this past Monday and trying to hit the ground running here. I ride sport bikes and have a built 2010 Mustang GT Track Package with full custom body on a 300 shot
. My bike is an 06 busa (18in stretch, 300 fat tire, 28mm Precision turbo, built bottom, custom airbrushed with Predator)...

Moral of the story, I'm not in it for gas mileage, and my expectations of the car were a clear pipe dream. So, its time to at least get some s550 track times out of my new family car.

After doing days of research, I haven't found any serious providers of performance parts for this car. If you have any links please post them.

Before I go to deep into performance parts, I would like to know if anyone has a CAD file for an A pillar 3 gauge pod or center dash mount. I have seen posts of a user who used to make them who has since passed away, but was hoping someone with 3D printing experience may have a file for the center speaker mounted pod.

Also, I am not looking for tuning, I will handle most of this myself via HP Tuners, but would be open to starting with a strong 93 octane high boost tune.

If all goes well, I hope to build a monster. My 08 GT was a "compound boost" car running a twin screw supercharger and twin helion turbo kit. Has anyone attempted such a feat on a Gen 4 SHO, because I'm dreaming big...

Please, share your opinions, tell me if im dreaming to big.

Please post any links you believe may help.

I'd recommend looking at members signatures for parts used.

User @Wsho just got one from them when I turned him onto them as well and posted it up.

As for performance parts, there's actually quite a long list and a good search of this forum will yield something that will tickle your fancy. All depends on where you want to start with the mods...

Whatever you do...don't ever **** with @Livernois Motorsports

Livernois that is. Just checked out ortiz and definitely going with the dual gauge a-pillar. Thanks

Now, do we know where I can score some nice intake and intercooler piping? Maybe a full cold air kit with intercooler piping and possibly some other then stock BoVs? All I'vefound are BoV spacer/adapter plates

Yessssssss also I thought this guy said performance? He went straight for the bling. Buy big turbos and meth. Send it Steve! Also your name is now Steve, so send it!!!

I did say performance. Turbos are a tax time investment. However, I can't stand driving a turbocharged car I can't hear, and definitely want to hear what some day shall be real power. It's like listening to an unborn fetus' heartbeat and being like "my **** made that"... Sense of pride you can call it. I also want to know what kind of boost it's producing when I bolt up the exhaust and intake and start tuning, and cannot get past the lack of gauges.

Now, ultimate goal is to get a fabricator to build a custom intake and bracketing to slap a whipple on it, however after dropping my savings on this thing so I didn't pick up a car note, I will be going for the penny pinching "bling" that will in the end be neccessary, considering the amount of money I feel I am certain to invest in a bulletproof rotating assembly, fabrication, ignition, and fuel upgrades.

For the next couple of months, only going to be dropping change on the minor things to make it feel more "mine", more "unique"... Then, I hope to get into the kind of performance levels that will allow me to surpass the newer shelby's and maybe even **** off some hellcat owners... Dreaming big, I get it... But all grand and fantastic dreams start with random thought you get while doing something pointless.

Also, definitely checked out EPP and bookmarked them, I like their intakes and their hot pipe kits, but wasn't certain if there were many more options out there.

That's where the word "suggestions" and "opinions" come into my original post. I've owned my SHO for 5 days, I respect the opinions of people who have done the research and have knowledge which I may learn from...

P.s. I'm loving this forum already. Nothing better then discussions with fellow passive aggressive intellectuals :)

I'm all function and zero form. But I enjoy watching people break parts and experiment with different ways to do things. Everyone has their own Flava Flav. Welcome to the SHOw.
There's a few entertaining fellows on here, you can browse some of the bigger threads and get a feel for personalities.

I will tell you this, some tuners lock their tunes and you have to either pay someone to hexedit or know how to edit the file yourself to change it into something you can see in Hptuners.
I've found a few tuners that don't lock it and I've also paid to have them unlocked before.

Congrats on the purchase, I recommend starting your build thread.

I'm 32 so quite familiar with trolling, I grew in the age of trolls and am well versed in the art. Aside from that i am ex-army so also familiar with the act of hazing... New guys have been dealing with it since the dawn of time. I'm here to build a car that my wife can pick the kids up from soccer practice in, or I can blow the doors off any "muscle car" I pull up on during the morning commute. Hopefully I'll learn enough from the guys here to build the car that will "steal the SHO" and maybe one day have the knowledge to help someone out. If there is a little shit talking mixed in it makes the whole venture seem worthwhile.

Glad to be here and look forward to getting to know y'all and share my build with you.

Welcome.

Service your PTU. Also, these cars have a very small aftermarket so all the stuff you haven’t found, is because it doesn’t exist.

Welcome, you're now a part of the glory years of this platform. Lots of torture about to happen and limiting factors to be shown for sure. As far as aftermarket goes there is a pretty tried and true set up but always welcoming new thoughts and perspectives that are to further the platform.

Welcome to the madness Ralf! VTA will give you all the PHSSSS you will want for 0 bucks. just the bigger turbos, pump and down pipes will give you more than the stock bottom end will take. Mine dynoed 500 whp and 540 wtq and it is my daily. I think this is the perfect balance of street and strip IMO
Livewire TS is also a great gauge set up than the pillar or dash pods sooo many thinks you can display. Can't wait to see your build.

The big ones as far as performance parts go are downpipes (lots of options), HPFP (lms or xdi) upgraded turbos (atp or gearhead) and intercooler (gearhead). Meth is also an option for adding power.

January will be six years since I bought my first SHO, still love and look forward to driving it every time.

CR Performance now offers turbo upgrades as well!
