It has come time for me to move on. I just don't drive the old SHO anymore and I need to make some room. I have owned this car since 2002 and it has been a southern car all it's life. Many of you already know quite a bit about my car but here is a quick breakdown:

Drivetrain:
3.2 w/ 3.0 intake cams
40mm BBB with correct butterfly plates
Quaife LSD
~75k on the swap, ~196 on the body.
All bearings, seals, gaskets, and wear items in engine and transmission were replaced at swap.
New Ford A/C compressor and clutch
Rod shifter w/ Jose SHOrt shifter
Thunderbird sport/Supercoupe wheels (they are wider than stock slicers but have the correct offset)

Suspension:
Full 3rd gen subframe swap with ZF rack and SARC module & 4th gen subframe bushings
~10k miles on swap
Quickstruts all the way around
TPR bushing in the rear
Adjustable rear control arms
Rear H brace

Body:
I repainted it about 2 years ago
New Ford headlights, turn signal, cornering, and fog light lenses.
New sunroof with seal and lifter arms
New passenger side rear quarter ( I could not find a new drivers side one)
Plus hood and spoiler
2nd gen painted door handles

Interior:
Good dash and most of the seats have recently been reupholstered, the only one that is old is the rear seat cushion.
Mercury Sable door panels, rear package tray and rear head rests
2nd gen center console
Digital dash conversion with all functions working
2nd gen radio equipment with Ford AM/FM CD, slave Mini Disc player, and Ford Probe EQ
All window, lock, and mirror switches have been replaced with new. No rubbed off lettering.
Roof console has been rebuilt with heavy duty switch and a Homelink module was added.
Replacement heavy duty carpet with matching floor mats.
2nd gen remote keyless entry with remote fob.

Extras:
Spare and tune up parts: air filters, obsolete Motorcraft "PP" spark plugs, plug wire sets, belts, alternator, power steering pump, idler pulleys, timing chain tensioners, and tons of other stuff.
A new set of 4th gen Taurus SES Sport wheels (they have a nice slicer look to them) with lightly used center caps
Service manuals, and service tool sets
2nd gen AM/FM tape deck and slave CD player
1 quart of base coat from when I painted it.

Flaws:
There are two small spot were I burn though the paint when I buffed it.
There is a scratch on the passenger side front headrest
The display on the MiniDisc player is very dim to off intermittently
The trim around the rear window has shrunk so it's a few inches short on both sides. It's removable though so it could be replaced

The car is in Greenville, SC and I'm asking $4500 for it.

Update: I installed new tires on the SES Sport wheels and put them on the car. See the new pics below.

Beautiful car! I am somewhat interested, but I have a few questions. It looks like in your pictures from when you got it that the floor is rusted on the cabin-side. Did that get repaired, or am I seeing it wrong? How many miles were on the 3.2 you put in? Does everything work? How does it run? Would you trust it to drive to North Dakota? Would you guarantee that it would last the drive to North Dakota (roughly 1,500 miles)?

Sorry for all the questions, but it is difficult to buy a car from far away!

No rust, just grime; the previous owners were horrid slobs. The 3.2 had about 80k miles on it when I pulled it. I completely rebuilt it with with all new mains, rod, and rod bearings. Everything works and it runs, shifts, and drives great. The only thing I would change for a really long road trip would be the tires. They have plenty of tread but they are over 10 years old.

That's a sharp car. If I was in the market I'd buy it for sure. GenIII subframe, quaife, and 3.2 swap already done? That's all the difficult stuff you wish for ready to go.
