Hello all, well, as the subject says, i have started swapping the 90 Dash into the 89. Both of them had EATC and now im hoping i can get the harness to match up. It seems daunting. I was looking at the main harness from the 1990 dash and it doesnt seem to want to connect to any of the connectors in the 89 engine bay.
Does anyone have any pinouts and functions of each wire in the 89 and 90 harnesses?
I dont ming splicing but i cant find the information. I have the 1990 EVTM (Electronics and Vaccum Troubleshooting Manual) and i cant seem to find the connectors and pins im concerned with.
Is their such thing as a 1989 EVTM? I think having both would be necessary.
Im just looking to mate it here.
Does anyone have a 90 or 89 EVTM ? Maybe they can look in their and give me a page number or something...
Im just trying to figure out what all the connectors on the 90 harness connect to. Then maybe i can start splicing away or use my 1989 harness Connectors and make my own adapters or something....
Any ideas?
INSIGHT and help would be great....im not a Electronic expert when it comes to troubleshooting.....anyone in the NJ area want to meet up? I got a 1990 parts car that can be stripped if anyone needs anything and they think they can help me.....minus dash ofcourse....
