I wish I'd seen cars like this before I bought mine. Not that mine's a piece of trash or anything but it's going to require a few bucks and a paint job to be up to par (a little more than I figured it'd need). You've done a great job with this car. I think I was just so impatient when I bought mine. Now the few minor things it needs are driving me crazy and I need to just get rid of it to pay for some other things after all. Waiting to buy a house with a garage is the best thing for me before I buy anymore toys to play with.

When I do it again, if it's not another SHO, it'll be a 69 Cougar XR7 hardtop blue w/white top 351 Windsor V8 w/ magnum 500 wheels, just like my dad's 1st car. I want a classic ride and I really love those old Cougars. While they'll cost more initially, I'd hope they wouldn't be as much of a mechanical headache as SHOs are since cars were so much simpler back then.

Seeing a gen 1, let alone a '89, get this much TLC and loving really brings a tear to my eye.. Great job man! I wish you the best luck with the sale and the son! It's always sad to see that stuff happen. I've seen families go through similiar, but not identical incidents. I couldn't even imagine being in your shoes man. Stay strong! I ended up makin myself a batch of popcorn 1/4 way through your post.. lol, so entertaining of a read!

I've been following this for awhile and just wanted to say I think the car is beautiful, you've done an excellent job with it. I hope it's still for sale in a few months (for my sake) and for your sake I hope it's not :) Can't wait to see it at Carlisle!

Here are two from yesterday.
You can see our door and window in the first one.
And our rental house in the other,
I did more waxing today.
I still need to wax the skirting an the front bumper.
The clock is ticking down.
And it's going to rain all day tomorrow.

Also Check with your PD. ( or state PD is better ) But alot of the times and out of state Inspection is valid to date of exsperation in the state you live in. I know it is here and we are super strict, we Follow CA law. my cousin has a NH inspection and were in Maine and my Neighbor has a MA.

Great work On the car. Looks like me and Mr.Warmonger are your 2 Main outspoken intrest.
