1989 Ford Taurus SHO $3900

--Yamaha 3.0L, DOHC, 6 cyl engine; MTX IV 5 speed manual transmission; 133K miles

--First year of production (only 16,000 made), this classic high performance sedan is an excellent candidate for a full restoration. All original engine, drivetrain, and body.

--60K mile service kit including drive belt, plug wires, water pump done at SHO Shop, Huntington Beach, CA.

--New (last ~10 years) clutch, flywheel, fuel pump, brakes, shocks, struts, starter, engine mounts, CV joint boots, CD/radio; 70% tread on Yokohama tires.

--Modifications: K&N air filter, CD/radio (original AM/FM/cassette is included separately), subwoofer.

--My father bought this car new and I have been driving it since 2004. It has always been garaged and was never raced or abused. Body has a few scratches and parking lot insults but no rust, and interior is very clean. It is mechanically sound and performs very well.SHO 2 SHO back seat2 SHO door sticker2 SHO engine 2 SHO front interior2 SHO rear view2 SHO trunk2

PRICE REDUCTION!

The nonfunctional air conditioner has never been a big deal for me here in Montana, but apparently the cost to fix it is significant. So I am lowering my asking price to $2900 ($1000 less) to compensate. Still the same great car but now at a very reasonable price.

Hah, I came to say the same thing!

Looks good, though, hope you find a good buyer.

Forwarded this to my father... He always complains about selling his first 1989 SHO...he had had several others various generations... Still talks about his silver 89...
