I'll let you know if it comes to that; hopefully this one can be saved. I should have pulled the damn heads while I had it on the stand. What the saying all the youngsters are using today? Epic fail!

I checked them all and they were within spec. How does this oil separator in the crankcase vent work? Any chance of something being amiss there?

How do you have it set up? Is the PCV line coming out of the valley under the throttle body capped off? How about the one coming out of the (passenger side in your case) valve cover?

I think I might have found something; it looks like the port on the valve cover is supposed to be hooked up to a fresh air port on the throttle body but I have it hooked up to the vacuum port on the intake runner. It might be sucking the oil right out of the valve cover into the intake. Im at work so I'll try that when i get home. Fingers crossed.....

Best 8 minutes spent this week. Nice work. Might want to do a video no music. You tube will delete unless got permission for the music. [excellant choice] Maurice

Great video, Pat. Can't wait to hear that thing roar!

I'm interested in the details on your exhaust setup. I've started researching parts to get an idea of the options available. Looks like you went the same 2-into-1 aproach as stock.

TIA,

Will do! I spoke to Mike at Tweecer and I should have it tomorrow as we had some details to nail down. Im picking up the driveshaft today. Weird thing; once I put the air intake on, it started the same problem again. I'm going to put the module on and see how it runs from there. Also, I finished putting the tailpipes on and it's really got a bizzare tone. Doesn't even sound like a car engine, it sounds like a hopped up crotch rocket, but I like it.

It should sound exactly like 3 crotch rockets, each with a 1 liter DOHC screaming to a 10k redline!

Beautiful build Sir!

Success!! Two short trips down the road without a hitch! A few bugs; It hits about 4k on the RPM and it feels like the power drops off. Rev limiter? Secondaries not working? On the exhaust I did a real simple 2 1/4" set of duals with Speedway glass packs and exited the tailpipes in front of the rear wheels. It's really loud but I dig it.
