Didn't Doug say he could do the tranny work for the 2010 SHOs?? I think he did, so if you have the extra cash burning a hole in your pocket then the answer to the question at hand is....(drum roll, please) Y-E-S!!!!!

Why do you keep bashing this guy? ****

What? You are allowed to stick your useless opinion in anywhere and I am not? Hypocrite.

:shakehead C'mon guys, let it go. You both have spoken your mind, points taken. And a few of us have tried to get this train back on track, then you two keep derailing it. If ya must bash each other, send each other *** or something.

Welcome!

As others have said, it's a little cost prohibitive to do the 12s package. I'm not sure how they go about programming the steering, but for the other changes you could get better pads if you were going to replace yours. Call Kirk at NESHO or Hawk or Satisfied will make a better pad than the factory brake pads. As far as the gearing goes, if I were going to have that done, I would change to the regular AWD Taurus gearing instead.

So to answer your question, you could do it but you could actually do it better for about the same amount of money.

That's just my 2 cents though.

Should be happy with your purchase, it's a great car!

Not sure how the AWD system is configured but, in all likelihood, it will require TWO sets of gears unless there is a takeoff on the same diff.....but that would be strange. I would suspect that you'd have to change the front AND rear gear ratios together....
