I am looking for a good set of front pads for my '92, and need some advice and feedback. Some time has passed since the different brake surveys, so please respond with what works well, and does not.

My requirements are good cold stopping from high speed, minimum noise, and managable dusting (pretty liberal on that, as long as it does not get to "caking").

I did do a search, and found valuable information, by the way.

I am leaning towards buying a set of those "Albany" pads. They can not be that bad?

That should generate some relpies!

I'm running the pfcm's and they're a good pad but do dust a good amount. I see many are turning to the Hawk pads for increased braking performance on stock setups. I'm not sure how bad the dusting is on those.
As an aside,I also installed the Earl's SS brake hoses. Great feel and improvement.

I love my Performance Friction Carbon Metallic 4214S pads, purchased originally for $28 with a lifetime waranty that has been effected six times. That makes them almost free by now. :)
