I was under the car today and saw that the o2 sensor located in the front by the radiator ('93 ATX by the way), had all the wires broken. I tried to find the connector so when I replace the sensor I could plug it in, but I can't seem to find it. Where is this connector located in the engine compartment, also where is the rear 02 sensor connector located, just so I know?

Thanks,
Erik

if u can, use a pair of ramps for the front of the car. then u can trace the y-pipe. u will see the second O2 sensor. u will need to access the wiring from the top of the engine, at least with my '93 atx. just take ur time, there is a way to get to that O2 sensor....

The rear O2 sensor can be disconnected by laying on the engine and reaching down between the firewall and the engine to access the plug. You will need an O2 sensor socket (can be borrowed from most auto parts stores), a universal joint and about 9" of extensions for your socket wrench.

i was able to do mine from the bottom and not the top of the engine, but this is merely personal preference. i did have to take off the front drivers tire to get to one of the harnesses though. just my $ .02 :D

I simply jacked up the car and used a 22mm (I think) wrench. I was able to get my arm up to the connector and then disconnect/connect using one hand. It's not that hard, and, seeing as I'm a rather large fellow, if I can do it, you can do it.
