Well I'm a little bummed out by the discovery that in inner-taillight on my 011 SHO does not light up like on my 014.
Is there a kit or has someone done a bulb install for the inner light?

Nothing's been performed to date, that I am aware of.....

And the only way to even begin thinking about retrofitting the '13 & up LED tails onto any '10-'12 model year, involves purchasing a '13+ trunk lid for starters, then both the inner & outer '13+ tail assemblies.

Don't forget paint & prep work to color match remainder of your car, & of course wiring harnesses, etc.

It can, & will, quickly surpass $3k in expenses......

Thank you for your response bpd1151,
Ahh...
Not really what I had in mind..

I was thinking about modifying the existing taillights to make the inner light up.

Dunno if they actually still sell the kit...

I bought this kit and started to install it, but it is a bit of a PITA. It involves cutting open the taillight lenses which are friction welded together. I bought a spare set of taillights and used an oscillating tool to cut the housings just inside the foam seal, but that still left a few areas that cracked when I tried to separate the assemblies. Additionally, I screwed up and purchased used taillights from an SEL or SHO which had peeling chrome. I should have just purchased the regular version without chrome to peel.

Anyway, I got all the LEDs installed in the housings, and the fit was great, but I was so bummed by the few cracks and the peeling trim that I just never got around to installing them. Oh yeah, connecting them also requires running additional wiring to the lights on the trunk lid and splicing in to the original taillight harness since the bulb connections are no longer used.

Since I just sold my SHO last week, I don't guess I'll every see what these would have actually looked like on my car.

I was hesitant on this kit because of all of those reasons... Reading the instructions made me want to start drinking... I'm impressed you go as far as you did!

SHOrod is now SHO-less??? :(

Yep, by choice, but it still feels weird. I needed to make space for my daughter to get a car, and the SHO can't pull my camper, so it was time for the pampered SHO to go. And, no, I didn't want my daughter driving a tuned SHO as her first car.
