0-60 MPH Time

Quick question for anyone who wants to give their time, what is a good time for the V8 to run a 0-60?

I did mine today at ~7 seconds (got videos of it too).

This MotorWeek, and they commonly under-rate performance.... but in this video, they gave it the quickest published time I've ever seen/read at 7.3 seconds!

In general, older V8s were heavier with the extra options.



On a completely unrelated note, this video just made me want a Gen III SHO.... I seriously WANT A '96!!!

My memory from over the years is that recorded times have varied between 6.8 and 8.1 seconds. I suspect most are not as fast now as they might have been when they were new.
