Hi there!

I'm looking for any line drawings or professional blueprints of the first-gen motor. I couldn't find anything by searching google or your forum, but does anyone have anything that could help me? Mainly, I'm looking for measurements as much as the drawings.

thanks guys!

I was looking for the same thing a while back so I could build a 3d model of the engine. I was not able to find much and nothing that I DID find had any measurements.

I started to build a 3d model of a head, but lost the gumption.

Rough dimentions used to be on here, before the forum crashed.

Dressed weight of the V6 is 485 lbs.
FWIW an all cast iron small block chevy is 550 lbs.

Overall dimensions are tricky, it depends what you include as "engine". I did some measurements last night for a project, and I will be working on a CAD drawing (not photo-perfect, but dimensionally close enough for planning)

All measurements are give or take 1 inch right now. No accessories on engine, but intake and exhaust included, as is crank pulley (MTX). No flywheel. Not sure on weight, but a friend and I lifted it into the back of his truck without much trouble. I'd guess around 350, but I could be off a lot.

Width - 26 inches (Left manifold to right manifold)
Width - 23 inches (no manifolds, if you're doing exhaust from scratch)
Height - 29 inches (with intake)
Length - Crank pulley to rear of crank - 22 inches
- Crank pulley to end of valve covers (furthest point on engine that is not relocatable) - 24 inches
- Crank pulley to coil (if relocating coil pack, all this space can be saved) 30 inches
- Crank pulley to throttle body inlet - 32 inches

I also have some photos of the engine on a stand, with a ruler for rough dimensions. Perspective messes it up a bit, so you can't use the ruler for exact measurements. I can post if interested.

I've done a bunch of "playing" with Google Sketchup and burned myself up trying to draw the intake. I'd love to see what you've got so far.

hey...I just realized, I have the 95 Ford Vehicle Service Manual on CD and there are wiring diagrams for the Mark. Are you sure the radio is dead or are you unsure you've got it pinned out correctly?
