It was a very successful dyno day, and a nearly perfect day for it. It was 74*F all day long, 30.00” steady and 30% humidity.
In addition to the local members, Paul came in from IL, Hamal from NYC, and Chip (Volvo guy) from NH. A few other people came by just to watch as well.
The SHO’s did very, very well. All were N/A, with Paul’s 208 being the highest and Bill T’s 191 the lowest (in fairness he was only running on 7 cylinders). Neither of the 3.2L ‘92s are tuned, so I bet each of them has at least another 10hp potential.
I’ll post some pictures later, but for giggles and grins we fired up a leaf blower and stuck it in Hamal’s intake. It only made 1hp and 5 ft. lbs., but firmly proved that blowing hot air is a joke!
A great time was had by all, including the BBQ at Kirk’s house afterwards.
