Wish I had a good reason to put a bone stock 3.0 on the rollers...But I KNOW the K&N is giving me a solid 20hp.
Might SHOw up to provide contrast, young/old(er), goodlookin'/not, with hair/without, oops, sorry guys didn't mean to get personal with that one.
Plus Kirk's BBQ's are well known, Beer+Beer>Quick.

We may have one more. One of the vendors for the Volvo is in MA and may attend. I sent him the sign up info.

You should make it out, even with the stock motor. ****, mine is currently running like **** and I'm putting it up!

I've updated the list, which is now up to 8. Just two more and the price drops to $60/each.

Fred, you should come out of hiding and SHOw up for the dyno day or at least come to Kirk's afterwards for the BBQ!

We miss your shiny cranium! :sun:

Well, I wouldn't mind hitting the dyno, but only after I replace the DIS. I'm losing 2 cylinders intermittently now. Some days a-ok, some days crappy. As for HP, I keep thinking about getting some adjustable sprockets & timing those cams, but that would go against my newfound "F-it" mentality on this car. 252 crank ponies should be enough for a rainy day SHO. :)

Besides, I'm hitting a neat little event near Lime Rock on 9-20... the Porsche guys are driving out for a fun run / Le Mans theme weekend... we're seeing McQueen's 911 from the movie at a private collector's place.

The following weekend I'll be out of town fri-mon, so that's a bust if it's the 27th. Hope you guys do get a good turnout though. How's the Mr. A SHO situation? Still have the old white V8, or something new?

Kirk I'd planned on stopping by at your BBQ after the dyno. Depending on how far in the bag I get, I may take you up on that. :thumb:

It will be good to see you since I haven't seen you since I was horizontal in your driveway a few months back! :angelnot:

Too bad you can't make it. I still say us SHO guys are way cooler than the Porsche guys...

I've had a black '99 for about 2.5 years now since Kirk decided to sell my white '97. :nut: Yeah, if you every SHOw up for an event again I'll tell you that one! I've managed to put almost 10,000 miles on it in something like 18 days this summer between the drive back-and-forth to Seattle for the convention, and then back out to Chicago for Tony's BBQ. Hasn't left me stranded yet! :woo-hoo:

Okay, this looks like the final list:

1. Hamal T.
2. Bob G.
3. Bill T.
4. James P.
5. Mel S.
6. Ricky F.
7. Randy C.
8. Paul N.
9. Chip F. (Volvo guy)
10. Kirk D. (Silverado)
11. Kirk D. (Charcoal V8)
12. Kirk D. (Fusion)?

Did I miss anyone?

Unless anyone objects, we'd like to try to run in the order that people signed up. Since Ricky needs to leave earlier than everyone else, we may need to push him up a couple of slots depending on how long each car takes. Hopefully we'll be able to have the first car strapped and ready to run right at 9 sharp.

Oh, if you need anything like coffee, snacks, gas, etc. you should do so before getting off 146 since there isn't a whole lot around the dyno.

You also might want to bring a chair if you don't want to spend the day standing around!

See everyone in the morning!
