Yeah, umm, this is not camfailures.com.

We really don't have any interest in all the cam failure cars people find on eBay, etc. Anyone looking for a car on eBay (cam failure or not) or anywhere else can probably find it on their own.

Could also be a fuel delivery problem

My car had the exact same symptoms of the ebay car. After inspection a badly rusted gas tank and a plugged fuel pump.

It's a 96. That's all. They never had them.

Mr A. - What's your problem? Guy posts a car and asks a question. I got no problem with that.
Yeah - It's a V8 SHO.

YEAH - It's likely a camfailure, duh. This information needs to be cycled over and over again so the newbies can trip across it and see for themselves that this is probably WHY the car they may be thinking of buying is about to be a big project and NOT a "couple of coils".

Again, this is not camfailures.com and it's not the mission of this forum to be obsessed with cam failures. People are advised of the issue and solution as it comes up. We have no interest in the incessant reports of things found on eBay. If people can find this forum, they can certainly find eBay without our help.

This is a diverse forum with a lot of information and discussion going on. We're not just limited to the same 4 or 5 topics over and over and over and over again. :nut:
