oil burning off back passanger manifold

I need help. New to SHOs but keep spending money on it. Want to know if this is common or not?? Maybe the oil pump. It's also the only pully that seems to shack when the car is running? Any ideas? Help me

oil pump.. the farthest back pulley is the Power steering pump.. its a PITA to replace.. the oil leaking onto the manifold could be your cam seal..

thanks for that. it smokes off of the manifold once the car warms up. no water in the oil. I have worked on cars all my life just figured i would ask before i tore the thing apart. I also want to do full exhuast without cats soon any ideas

Remove the cam sensor. If you see oil in the bottom of its housing, that's a bad cam seal. If no oil is found, then check out PS hoses at the PS pump. A third possibility is the rear valve cover gasket.

I didn't RTV my gasket when installing it and it rolled out causing engine oil to leak on my manifold, and what not. Take off the intake and feel around there (when your engine is cool) and you should be able to feel oil or gunk along the line of the mating surface on the valve cover and head if it is leaking from there.

Had this happen to me also, but it was a lot of oil and a lot of smoke.. If it's coming from the accessory side of the engine I would bet it was the cam seal.
