QUESTION...What is latest verdict on Anchor mounts for Gen2 atx?

Earlier posts over the years indicated less than satisfactory performance for the Anchor Gen2 atx motor mounts but I would appreciate replies of recent experiences with these mounts in the hopes they have improved the strength over the years.

I already posted this question a few days ago, but gave the post a "blah" title which didn't make my request very clear, hence no replies.

Previously posted on thread http://www.shoforum.com/showthread.php?t=89669 which includes photos of the broken mount.

Sorry for the double post on this subject, but any recent information will be greatly appreciated.

I've had an Anchor front mount on my car for about 15+K miles now, and haven't had any problems with it. I had a Pioneer solid front mount that snapped in two within 100 miles, but no issues with Anchor.

Looks like a manufacturing defect.

Oh. Shoulda mentioned, it's on my 94 ATX.

AFAIK, Anchor is the OE provider of all of Ford's hydraulic mounts and has been for many years.

I still had the original Ford OEM mount and compared it to the broken Anchor.

The rubber parts look smoother on the OEM. Couldn't find anything stamped on the OEM regarding country of origin, but the Anchor was molded in India.
