I am a clutches worst enemy... Boost is my new weapon of choice:scared:
I still have a perfectly good CM1 PP(disc broke). Maybe they can sell me the disc alone.

And Tom, uhhh... Ok, ya got me there:asskick:

HAHA nice Nick. I think your trap speed will be close to Toms' trap but your ET won't be as low lol. Worn out BFG's FTL haha.

Just make sure to let that punk clutch know who's boss.

Awwweee... You too?! That's it, I'm going NA!

JK! It looks like a decent setup. Watch your oil temps with both those hot exhaust pipes running under the pan. I noticed a difference in temps with just the SHO SHOP "equal length" y-pipe since the front pipe runs near the oil pan as well. I've been thinking of heat wrapping my entire y-pipe.

It's in a '57 Chevy I believe. 8 turbos each pushing 2 psi and I think they call it the INCINER8OR. Cool but pointless for 16 psi accumulative.

I am going to have the hot pipes Jet Hot coated but may also wrap them around the pan. Should look nice at least;).

Finished the IC tonight...

That looks sick. The intercooler looks right at home sitting there. Get that thing running:thumb:

What size piping did you go with??? Is it 2" or 2.5"???

I agree: Pretty plumbing, absolutely stunning fabrication, but those turbos won't spool for sh*t.

Definitely a lot of nice show muscle cars. It cracks me up that they pick a name like "lateral-g" that implies handling. :p

Yeah, that's gonna happen.

I've no personal experience with it, but have always heard that a downside of wrapping is accelerated corrosion. Don't know whether that would be true with a coating like jet-hot, as the corrosion issues were usually with light-weight race applications before coating became popular.

And it's lookin' good, Nik. Are you keeping track of the $$ you're spending? I'm guessing you're going to be a contender for one of the lower-cost full turbo installs.

Looking good nik! One word of caution, with all those connections, take car to keep those pipes secured well, as the bouncing around and vibration could lead to a blow off at a connection. Are the pipes beaded at the ends?

If you approach wrapping with the idea that you need to replace it every year (or sooner depending on driving conditions), then corrosion becomes much less an issue. Also ,the wrap will trap small particles which become like little sandblasters over time. Not driving in the rain or on dirty roads will help a lot as well. Coated pipes will certainly withstand the abuse for longer, you should install new wrap on the same schedule as a non-coated pipe. On my car, only the up and downpipe are wrapped. Due to the location of the y-pipe, that wrap would get contaminated quickly, and you would likely need to change it often.

Well, took it for a spin to allow any "issues" to arise(and they did.) I put the turbo's regular waste gate back on with an adjustable rod(adjusts from practically zero boost to way more than enough). I have not cranked it and smashed on it yet since I have no idea what the AFR is but I can tell from driving it that I wont likely have turbo/pipe sizing issues. If I had to guess, I'd say the WG is set around 3 psi right now -a load of TQ comes at around 3000RPM and shortly thereafter, I hear the the WG opening(@ 50-75% throttle). It feels awesome and it is very tempting to see what it's got but not without watching the vitals. Also another thing I noticed was that is does not want to cruise at all. Any sustained part throttle causes RPM fluctuation and it wants do stall on decel sometimes.

Now that the "work" is done, I have to save for the pricey but required equipment. I cant wait to get this thing dialed in!!!
