Last week they were listed to 90$ and this week 125$.

They surely look good but , I too , want to know if these things are any good before buying it.

New wires are new wires. 10mm would indicate that they MAY last longer...but for less than half the cost, I'm sure the $50 ones will last MORE than half as long as the $125 ones.

My concern is not the "lasting" but more the power they can deliver compared to stock. Stronger the spark , better it is.

You think they designed the system to leave unbruned fuel in the chambers?

Edit...remember...stock means "designed by Ford approved engineers". I guess all that means is...the stock system will be able to burn all the fuel that the engine can use.

For a stock engine it would prolly do nothing , but for my setup , maybe something could be gained.

It's pretty rare you see 400hp mustangs on stock 7mm wires.

I'll buy that. However...how are you SENDING more spark than stock?

Smartass answer : Yup I got an accel supercoil....

No seriously, sending not really but , maybe more is lost through oem wires then with these. But before saying that , it would be nice to know how much ohms per foot oem wires has , them to can compare with what they claim (which is I think 25 ohms per foot)

PS: yea I got the supercoil.

HEH...I knew you would come back with that...

SOOOOO many people don't understand the most basic of philosophies.

...shit in...shit out...

No matter how nice or high performance the "shit processor" is...

gees dont take this personal , I'm not arguing with you , i'm just trying to figure out if these would be worth it with a mustang comparison (bigger=better).

Perhaps you didn't see me smiling when I wrote that...It really wasn't meant for anyone in particular...

It was "tongue in cheek". I took no offence and meant none in return.

I'm well aware that you do not fit into the catagory of people that think upgrading one component of an otherwise well balanced system will result in overall performance gains.

Stock type wires offer the best blend of compromise to stock type applications. If you are boosting the engine then you may have to look at improvments to match your system. By the way, reisistence in a wire can actually make the spark hotter and result in a higher level of performance.

I have these and they are very well constructed; lowest resistance of any wire on the market and very HD. Installed them with the Apexi super ground unit and it now revs smoother and quicker with better tip in throttle response. The old wires I just removed were OEM stockers with 50k
