Slapping a HID setup into the stock halogen housing is, as we all know, a bad idea... But what about mounting a projector inside the stock housing?

Granted, that's not a SHO, but it does have the same style lenses (fluted).
IMHO, that beam looks very good. Plus the GenI housings are larger, which wouldn't limit the projector's that could be used.
I'm sure this has been covered on the HID website (hidplanet.com???).. but i'm not a member...
