Yup. 1 dead deer. 1 [temporarily] dead SHO. Needless to say, I'm ******. I'll let the pictures do the rest of the talking. I'm planning on fixing it, depending on what we find when we cut the existing rad. support off. Hopefully we can weld a new one in and hopefully the engine and everything is fine. If anyone has any parts or wants to help out in any way, let me know...

Oh, and I am proud of myself though (and thank God) for keeping the car on the road. The deer hit, and the computer thing on top of the radiator sheered off my spark plug wires from the coil, and the car shut down, so I had no power. Then the car did a 360* or two (due to hitting the deer on a slight curve) and I luckily managed to keep it from hitting the curb and got it spun back around the right way and off to the side of the road.

:cuss:   :madflame: :banghd:

Damn, thats a deer hit. Sorry to see that happen to suck a nice looking car.

After you strip away all the parts off the front end post some pics of the Core support. You might be able to just fix that oneif its not tooooooo bent out of shape. Ask Chris (hunter) how we fixed his on his black gen 1. Also you you want another police grill let me know, got one ready for paint. Plus I have a gen 1 front bumper that will be in my hands in a few weeks .

I'm so sorry to see that! I love that car. I hope you are able to fix it, but luckily you were okay.

It's amazing how much damage a deer can do. Although from the looks of it, you did plenty of damage to the deer too....

So we have a front bumper, stock hood, plus hood, and police grille... We're well on our way...

Call me crazy, but I can hear THIS CONVERSATION taking place shortly after the accident

Sorry Matt, I'll chip THIS THOUGHT in, so I don't seem insensitive...

Need something, let me know!

Is that motor oil pooling under the front of the car. By the looks of the deer it must have rolled under the car. Hopefully theres no major damage to the bottom end of the motor. Just remember anything can be fixed with enough patients.

I have a rt frt fender, HL support, headlights, +hood, stock hood, frt bumper assy complete, batt tray, airbox, hood hinges & latch & a comp frt rad core support cut from an 89! & prolly any other little things you will need.
