difference of 3.0 and 3.2 injectors

is there a difference between the injectors and if so what ones has higher psi

The 3.2 ones are supposed to have ~1-3% more flow.

3.0 injectors are pink and flow 23.7
3.2 injectors are purple and flow 24.4

You are looking at a 5-8 crank HP difference.

BTW I dyno'd 257 Wheel HP on 3.0 injectors.

To add to the above, neither have a "higher PSI". Both are regulated the same. The injector offset (programmed into the ECU) is what makes the larger injectors work properly with with the same slope (also in the ECU). If you have a 3.0L harness/computer, just stick with your 3.0L injectors.

I thought 3.0L were about 21lb and 3.2 were about 24lb, course you know more then I do about that stuff but that was just my impression.

The 3.0L injectors are actually advertised as 24 lbs/hr.

24 /.45 x 6 = 320 hp at 100% DC
320 x .7 = 224hp at 70% DC

thanks guys i put the 3.0 injectors in. oh and how much hp is the 3.2 with 3.0 cams, like when the swap is all done and dynoed what would it be?

my fuel rails are out for clean/paint & upper 60K so I was just going to install the 3.2 injectors I have with the new 'O'ring kit. So its a stock 91+ with 100K & you are saying I will see no benifit at all! Will it be a deterent/loss of anything? There will be no chip in it now as LMP's are worthless as no one will flash them!

HP at the wheels with a 3.2 is about the same as a 3.0, you just gain a little torque. Your talkin .2 of a litre! Not worth doin the swap unless you have to replace the motor anyway.

well i blew up the 3.0 so this is y i did the swap and how come others did the swap and increased hp by 30? with the 3.0 cams in the 3.2?
