I don't have this model of SHO what is that hole for? Mount ptu to a frame piece? Hold 2 case halves together? A mount to secure another car part?

Cast aluminum or other metal? First idea is welding to repair broken piece or replacement. If it was steel I would think about welding a nut or a tube with a nut threaded on the end to replicate what is needed. Alum welding is much more difficult than iron/steel. Cast metal sucks in general. Here is something similar for aluminum Ford intake

Second idea is maybe an internally damaged PTU for cheap with a case or case part that you can swap over

Yeah I’m looking into finding one that is damaged on eBay cause although I do have a welder it’s nothing fancy and I don’t wanna mess it up plus I still have not found the broken piece. I do appreciate your advice thanks . Super interesting video too.

IMO, there is no reasonable way to repair that. How did you manage to break it? If there is debris in the hole hydraulic pressure will cause that kind of damage when the bolt is tightened. A used PTU case would be the only fix.
