400 whp in a stock sho

have had my Sho since last may, looking to get to 400 whp with the car. Any help would be much appreciated. Haven't touch anything as far as performance.

1. get maintenance uptodate
2. stack up the performance goodies

the old way used to be via a methanol kit as the final poweradd.

now, i believe it can be done thru tuning and fueling.

please update your sig so we know a bit about your SHO. i know, it's stock right now :) but am sure it won't be for long!

Set the last year fixing the whole suspension mess the previous owner left me. But she's up to date now.

Live wire TS+, 3 bar map and plugs. AJP tune and you should be around 375 - 400 whp

This is all that's in the Gear Head Power pack besides a different controler(sctx4)and Tune(GH).Is all the added power in the Tune of AJP?Or does having a LivewireTS+ allow for that?

It’s all tune. Whatever you use, the device is just the vehicle to load the tune. The X4 is just slow and clunky.

Ok i thought so,but damn I have my GH PP coming tomorrow and I regret not getting the Ortiz Racing pack for $75 exta LoL

It is all the same. It is like buying a ratchet. It is just a tool. SCT makes the LiveWire and the X4 for our platform. The speed and the screen (and price) are the biggest differences. The tune can be bought from anywhere after you have the tool. GH or AJP is the best route.

What tune do u think is better
the one that matches your expectations, you can ask both companies - I want better fuel efficiency - or in case of auto octane sensing maybe go to GH - its the choices you are looking to accomplish. Matt at GH and AJP - are very very experienced tuners. I asked for premium 93 octane only from AJP. I wanted him to push the tune, without breaking the transmission - that was my ask.... others might say push E85 and give me everything my car can do for dragstrips....

though our cars are the same, they are different - their health - like turbos - or maintenance might lead an experienced tuner to make adjustments, that one of us here might not want for our cars.

I hate to say it this way, but GH or AJP - search AJP here and he is email responses.

PS - there was a very nice guy on FB who will do dyno tunes in MI - specifically for onsite customers. I posted his name here, search him if u live in MI.... crap ok WV.

you can put a tune or many tunes on your sct device from all different tuners and switch when ever.

I assume you like the ajp tune better. Does either tune make more turbo noises
You want more noise vent to atmosphere your blow off valves. I installed torque solutions... Others will tell ya to go chair leg cap however that how you get the pssssssst when the pressure releases
