I always buy the tire certificates and I only buy from Discount or American tire. Nationwide Warranty and only 35 dollars to replace, mount, and balance a tire that has a certificate. Worth every penny.

I usually but my tires at costco. They usually already come with a 5 yr warranty (pro rated) and lifetime rotate balance nitrogen fills blah blah. Mostly I only keep costco membership for gas and tires and cheap pharmacy stuff

I have the tire protection warranty type thing from ford (I forget what it’s called), but if I didn’t, I would have paid for road hazard protection. I bought my current set 8 or 9 months ago and had to have one repaired the day after having them installed, and one replaced a few months ago. It’s worth it IMO to just pony up for the coverage. Good tires aren’t cheap.

Also, you might want to check out tire rack. They have a free two year road hazard protection when you buy through them, if I’m not mistaken.

No. Buy the DWS06+ and then register them with Continental. They have a Total Confidence Plan. If they become unserviceable within 12 months, free replacement. Mileage Warranty up to 80k depending on the tire. 60-day free trial. Don't like them, they replace them. 12-month free road hazard. 24/7 free roadside assistance (change your flat with your spare or tow up to $150). Emergency trip interruption coverage (they help cover the cost of mechanical failure).

I bought mine with CC2s. They have been fantastic in Florida rain/crushed seashell roads and seem to be wearing at about expected for the past four to five months. I've always bought Michelin tires (have an in with a Michelin dealer) and they have done me very well in both Florida and Michigan climates. Worth the extra money in my opinion.

I buy tires every 20k to 25k miles. I had a tire blown beyond repair at about 40k, then at 50k I bought a new set and stored the tire with 10k on it. Still have that one sitting on the garage floor. It is my road hazard insurance, and now with 95k on the car I haven't had a tire malfunction since!
