For 700 HP? 700 ft-lb? Try 550 ft-lb. How people so entrenched in the aftermarket can be so clueless is bewildering. No wonder it's taken 12 years for the platform to get to the point you're at now!

Tying back to our convo a few weeks ago, the notion that your cams are going to make you peak at 5200 rpm is beyond ridiculous. Stock SHOs peak at 5500. Feels like every ATP dyno sheet I've seen peaked past 6000 RPM. An NA 3.5L peaks at 6850, and so does an SHO out of boost. All have the same "sh.itty" cams. Just by letting the engine breathe and not succumbing to BS marketing of rod twisting nO cOmPrOmIsE tUrBos.
Just for reference. A guy here in the AZ Lexus community has a 2 1/2 inch down pipe on his 2J with a 76 mm turbo. I don't think anyone thinks the cams are limiting power to 5200 RPM. Obviously restrictions are causing the problem. Better cams would improve breathing at higher RPMs. But they would likely really only come into effect above 6500 RPM if we did have better cams. Hopefully I can tell you, although I don’t see any Mustang dyno pulls in my future. Tuning for time only. Dragy will be my time dyno. Tuning for a 10 sec street pass before hitting the track.
