Or a cheaper option may be rubbing alcohol or Heet gas line antifreeze. What about tossing a teaspoon of antifreeze in the can?
I don't think anything that can vaporize is a good idea. Also that stuffs combustible, don't know if it would cause an issueOr a cheaper option may be rubbing alcohol or Heet gas line antifreeze.
The benefit I would see is that products like Heet are meant to bind to water and make them burn off when evaporated. So in the instance that any of it did vaporize, it would take the water with it and burn it off. In the tiny volume that you are going to be able to put in, I doubt it would even have a noticeable reaction if it did vaporize. (A 12 ounce bottle treats 20 gallons or 2560 ounces. A JLT can holds 3 ounces. This means, you would need 1/71 of an ounce of HEET to treat a full can.)I don't think anything that can vaporize is a good idea.
