Last summer, I bought a '16 Police Utility...and without thinking...took many of the reasons for having the SHO away. Like al wheel drive and lots of space.I work in the video business and need to move equipment around.

So, in the though process of moving out of the SHO into a Mustang. Tough choice for me. My SHO just turned 31,000 miles and has only spent a few nights outside the garage. Right now it's trade value is at an all-time high which is partially drives the thought....

Meh.... although nice in their own right(s).... Pony's are a dime dozen, and come in all sorts of flavors, combos, colors, etc.

Not fond of the new Mach-E's. I think Ford did a disservice to the iconic Mustang by making them essentially look like a midsized SUV.

But hey, none of us are in your shoes. So do whatever's best for you.

I've seen plenty of former SHO owners, who admittedly cursed their ownership while owning them, only come to regret having parted ways with theirs and then end up searching and searching to source another one years later.

Good luck in w/e you choose.

I agree...not a Mach E fan!

My SHO is a great car, and I enjoy it. I'm not unhappy with it at all. My daily prior to this, was a '06 Lincoln that was left to me by my Dad. Daily driver prior to that...for 7 years...was an '03 Cobra Terminator. I enjoyed that car, too.

A friend has asked me more than once..."if elephants were half price..how many would you buy"? Thanks for the thoughts, guys

Last toy was a supercharged Coyote, but if I ever get into another Mustang, I would love a Terminator or a Mach1.

If you have the budget and can find one, a late GT350 is way fun.

As the owner of both models, I really enjoy my GT and SHO. But if your reason is space you would be disappointed. The SHO has way more room, I know this. If you're looking for room to haul stuff SUV is your best bet. I just bought a really nice 2015 Audi Q7 for my GF. Space galore and it's 3.0 Supercharged all wheel drive, just saying.

I've had Mustangs in the past, so I'm well aware of the space difference. I also have a 2005 Excursion. But, the Police Utility purchase took away my "need" for the back seat and big trunk of the SHO.

My 2011 SHO is my "truck in disguise" and my 2021 Mach 1 is the streetable race car. The combination works well. Yes, there are lots of S550 Mustangs out there now, but not so many Mach 1's. The kick-in-the-pants from the Mach 1 Coyote is thrilling and that car really is "smiles per mile."

Completely different animals and purpose.

Why not have both?

SHO is my Daily 70% of the year, F250 7.3 for work and play and LS swapped IROC for summer play... Gotta have variety and each one does different things.

Exactly my reason behind having all my vehicles. I'm beginning to acquire quite a few lol.

I really want a mach1 with handling package and tremec 6speed. For the price though…2022 Mach1 with handling package is ~67k. My FIL paid 71k for his 2020 GT350 (6 speed) with 187 miles. I really like the Mach 1s, but for the specs I want, I’m thinking I’d rather spend the extra ~5k and get the voodoo with the 6speed. We’ll see what the prices look like next year once used ones start popping up.

Regardless, whatever pony I get, it WILL have those handling package wheels. They’re slick as **** lol

Are the voodoos still having oil starvation problems? I'm not sure how prevalent this is as I watch car repair/mod vids and just noticed a pattern

it’s my understanding the 2019+ gen2 (pretty sure there’s a gen3 now) upgrades fixed a lot of the issues with excessive consumption. The FILs has had zero issues since he got it, and from what I’ve read the owners of the previous model years that have had gen 2 replacement engines no longer have issues.
