Hello to all. I’m a new member here but came across this forum while looking for was to modify my mustang back in 08’-09’. Next March I’ll be paying off my 12’ SHO and wanted to know some good performance upgrade suggestions. I’m not going to do anything radical but bigger turbos, new exhaust and new suspension have crossed my mind. Thanks. 80CBF44C B84C 4B77 9E64 94C60E7E68A9

Let us help you help yourself spend money!

if you go bigger turbos then you need to go intercooler, downpipes and all the supporting fun stuff.

My opinion based on my build, take it with a grain of salt:

Basically you will need to start with a tune and supporting mods, before moving to bigger turbski's, here is how I did it.

Tuner of your choice and power pack that comes with: tuner | cooler plugs | cooler Tstat | 3 bar

Then: PPE Catted Downpipes | DG2 Trans Mount | GH IC

After that HPFP would be a good idea to get more fuel (if you have access to e85, doing a splash mix to go e30 is a great bump)

and just so the boat doesn't rock too much I did H&R Springs

Next up for me would be bigger turbo's, but I wouldn't think about that until these ones go boom, and even then I'd be a little worried about my transmission going boom after the big power add.

Good luck, have fun, and enjoy the ride!!!!

This sounds like a good layout. I do have access to E85 everywhere down here in S. Florida. I’ve only used 93 in my car though. Should I make a fuel change?

Only if:

1. your tuner will tune you for it, some will only do it with the HPFP, you don't want to run it with your 93 tune
2. you like adding HP/TQ

I don’t have it tuned or anything as of yet. Everything is still factory. She’ll be paid off in March and that’s when the work will begin.
