So today, I opened her up.

Woo Hoo! An XDI60 HPFP!!!!

I guess Bam-SHO won't be the only one getting himself in on some Xtreme D!!!

***side note, thanks to Easton (SM105k) for purchasing my (very) slightly used HPFP from that "other" vendor (the lower 35 version). The arrangement helped us both out and I am excited to have another piece of the puzzle awaiting install/use.A5e3af1f2d1de307f0e5d65accaaaac28bd71b1f562d44ef5afadf55a994d3460f6b753df2eafbdb0b33a99606f01b0bEa63e6eb703b7ff65f54505c0038c7756ad42e5d63e43cb2a3ec5d8b70bea2bb88da79d41c55d7a07e5d048651564decB06e13a50b5565f872b6c43cd7f2492d

Well how did you order yours, and get it shipped all within one week I ask?

Hmpf...... took me nearly 6 weeks to get mine, from order placement, to order delivery.

Maybe they felt bad about the delays and tossed in the line for good measure perhaps?

Stupid pandemic $h!t.

Well, I've got Uwe working on a secret project for me (wink wink) and it's been FOREVER!!!!! His latest update said he was focusing on pushing out HPFPs, so that may be the reason for the increased order fulfillment speed. But...my project keeps getting pushed back...sigh.

Everybody stop ordering so many damn HPFPs!!!!! Lol....

Laughed at "Everybody stop ordering so many damn HPFP's!!!!".

Awesome to hear the TINY tidbit morsel of a secret squirrelly project that Mr. Ostmann is doing for you. Excited for you.

I'm sure you'll clue the community in on its developments when the time is appropriate for both of you.

Yeah, only reason i dont want to say anything yet as it's been difficult to reach him and even he admitted it may not work, so I'm trying not to get too attached to the project just yet

I ordered on August 2nd. Man, 6weeks?!?
Maybe that line only comes with the xdi60? I got the newly released xdiEVO. Oh well.

Xdi is based in wixom, MI. About 22mins (17mins SHO speed) from my house.

Meh, no complaints on my part. Was just razz'n 'ya.

It was really no rush (& I communicated that on the front end). But it did take (that long) which was longer than expected.

I was kept abreast of progress periodically. Apparently the 60's are built as ordered from what I was told.

The other issue, which was/is much much more glaring is the fact that they're based out of MI. and that evil Governor there, I secretly think she's a modern day, real life version of Cruella de Ville, has kept your State shuttered for as long as she has. Much like Gov. Fatzker in my craptastic State has.

So, is what it is. Seems to be the never ending theme with this build.......

Waiting. And waiting. And waiting more.

Big Gretch is too afraid of the corona criticism. Shes just a "yes" woman trying to protect her image/ public approval ratings.

Great theme song BTW! Official Song of the Build!

Not anything of real significance mind you....

But I did receive the new 'SHO' battery tie down today.

Neat piece and happy the font is correct.

I do have something of significance though that is scheduled to be delivered tomorrow however. Excited about that arrival.

Yes, I'll repost. Otherwise, no other news quite yet on any other aspects.

Thanks for staying tuned! 20e1d980a59ce0491d8c1fbc50014c67

Can we get a hook up on a source for that tie-down? I need one, and ecobeastbillet website seems to have gone bye-bye.

Well a bit of welcome news, if not surprising news.....

Engine builder just sent this to text me within the last hour.......

So now to just get the transmission vendor motivated to finish up on his end and then re-install can at least begin! Woo Hoo.787e0a8d3b7dda1fc3b51076c1004a44

09/07/2020.....

Another surprise notification from my long time mechanic friend.

He informed me that the transmission vendor returned his phone call, inquiring on the status of the upgraded trans for my SHO.

He was told to expect it to be completed this week. Possibly by this coming Wednesday (09/09/20).

So super excited about that. I did ask if the vendor could supply me with the intimate details of what work was performed. Not only for personal knowledge therein, but equally as important for the tuning vendor when it comes time to/for tuning this developing beast of build.

My pal said he would speak with the vendor again (presumably when the vendor goes to freight it back to his shop) and pass along that query of mine.

Just thought to pass along (yet another) pleasant and surprising developing breadcrumb of news.

Hope everyone's enjoyed their long, Labor Day holiday weekend. I myself am glad I am off today. I've worked 7 of the last 8 consecutive days. I need a break.

Keep staying tuned as more info seems to be on the verge of forthcoming. Thanks for the reads/likes/etc.

I know you are holding those cards close to your chest, and I don't blame you, but the most exciting info I'm waiting on from you is the work that was done to the trans. I look forward to the day you share that info so I (and others, I'm sure) can mull over it and possibly mimick your work (hey, isn't that supposed to be the highest form of flattery? Lol)

09/11/2020......

Worked the last few days since the last update. Didn't have time to re-post.

Anyhow, received pics from the engine builder and still waiting on the final assembly pics to arrive in my inbox. But I'll share as soon they arrive.

In the interim, a few of the short block assembly having been completed to ogle at for the time being.

No info, or update(s) to share on the transmission front. My long time mechanic friend has been battling with some fairly serious health issues. I'm sending prayers his way so that he successfully recovers/manages from them quickly and safely.

Again, I always share as the info is provided to me. Somber day today. I myself am having reflections of the importance of today's history and the events that unfolded 19 years ago. I created a separate thread on that and I appreciate those that have replied to that, as well as having taken the time to read and reply to this ongoing rebuild thread.

God bless America and all of it's people. No matter the political affiliation, background, ethnicity, education, etc.

We can all do better. Myself included. Stay safe and stay tuned. More updates always forthcoming. 65bfbb00611903a27f6a1a250b6aecebD06911fa71a6a82e707371f0131c763d4b0d090b4ee1591580b71971deaa836dDf856d1ecf3cb0e2bd21294d0bf4125e087c16bc5e8e04bece7a8408f8da09edDb5e42f9ffe18990674bb6da1132fc58
