Data log it. Make sure you have airflow/# in the data perimeters. With those numbers we can extrapolate what your HP is. Dyno's can be inflated and deflated by the operator. True HP numbers come from the trap speed at the track.

450 hp to the tire without turbos and upgraded HPFP is a big number. Also throughout the years we have seen Torrie really isn't that aggressive with his tunes to get into that realm of power.

What is that actual equation? I used a calculator online but it just spit out a number assuming RWD with a 10% drivetrain loss.
I found it hard to believe I’m at 480 wheel HP.

Cuz drivetrain loss is more like 23%

Load x RPM x .00471 will tell you also. Problem is there's a ton of screwy things tuners may do that will render your airflow measurements useless.

Yeah I knew it was 23-25%. But what is the actual equation it’s using to calculate the fact that it takes X HP to move X weight X distance in X time...or up to X speed?

I stopped the math game after the requisite math credits were received and took drawing instead. Hahaha

Using that formula I was making 50 HP more when I boomed than when I was on the Dyno lol

yea especially since airflow #/min is a calculated value on these cars, it's not very accurate at all.

But all of "your" examples showed it being within about 10-20hp of accuracy...... and most tuners also reference this same number.

Show me dyno comparisons that dispute accuracy with #/min and give me their error corrections.

Until then I would say #/min is just as accurate as a dyno...maybe more depending on which brand of dyno.

Because its supposed to engine output not power to the wheels. I showed our experience, not other tuners.

After my tune, when people me how much HP, I'll say, enough to smoke a mustang GT, challenger srt, camaro, M3, etc...but not enough to smoke a corvette z06, cobra, M6, etc.

So My Intake Manifold Spacer shipped.

I ordered the newly released XDI-EVO HPFP From Ortiz.

Forum discount and 0 sales tax, saved me enough for me to buy the DeatchWorks DW300c LPFP as well. It was basically free.
Hopefully all my goodies arrive early next week so that I can install and data log before that Saturday August 15th.

I just need to
-build/modify/install my mesh grill,
-grind prep and paint it and the chrome trunk strip.
-Detail Interior and exterior

Then I'll be ready for the Woodward Dream Cruise.
