Roughly 33% more fuel consumption. On 93octane I was getting an average of 22mpg and now on e85 I'm getting 16mpg. This is averaged over approximately 10 tanks each. Which I tried to behave but occasionally ran hard from a stop and up in the triple digits.....but overall this is at 80mph for 2hrs at a time and Roughly 15min in city driving.
Well you're talking about cruising im talking about racing lol 3x as much is a bit of an exaggeration lol but you use alot more when running e85

Yes sir. I see that with my ST. 80% Freeway and 20% City driving.

91 octane: 320 to 340 miles per tank.

E30: 260 to 280 miles a tank

E54: 220 to 240 mile a tank

E85: 200 miles a tank

Measurable results? I haven't heard of those ones

Torrie from unleashed recommended torco and boosted my spark and boost after I ran it for a short while.

Octanium results were measured by me in hptuners datalogging showing spark being added when before it was either 0 or subtracting.

The results are way worth it. My only concern is 93 has better lubrication than e85.

Ok ill check them out, my main issue with the boosters is your lookin at adding like 10-15 bucks per tank just to boost it a few points. That's not really a justifiable thing for a daily driver in mt opinion

True thats why I switched to e30. But the issue was trying to constantly balance the blending. I never wanted to measure or calculate.

Yeah, not with fuel mixing, but with regards to methanol. I've always run 100%. I know there are arguments for mixing it with water but just turns into a hassle after awhile, tbh. I just want to pour-n-go, lol

I will say this though....since going to e85.....i don't know if i need to install the aftermarket intercooler or not.... my IAT2 never exceeds 120 even idling at 25min~.
Frequently its around 10degrees of ambient while driving.

I feel the same way about methanol. I'm considering running it because I can get it free. There's a 10k gallon bulk tank where I'm working.

Yeah it was funny watching the Aussies back when e85 first came out and they were boosting cars to like 35-40 psi because the e85 was soo cool and stabil

Octanium has been our go to since Torco tends to foul plugs and cats, but yea I love me some E.

I cycle my fuel. 1 tank 91, 1 tank e54 (when this tank hits half, i will fill with 91 to make E30), 1 tank E30. Repeat. Keeps everything happy.

I'm considering adding upper cylinder lubricant every 3rd tank

I've read that people get an orange residue on their plugs from Torco.

Is that your experience too?

Torco works great. Kinda spendy. I have used it before.

Yes orange plugs, howover I have never had a plug foul.

My buddy has a Paxton SC 5.0 Mustang. It is tuned by Lund and they told him to use Torco.

How would IAT2 register lower on e85 if the sensor is Pre-fuel.
Because Temps across the board are going to be lower. The e85 burns at like 700 degrees whereas gasoline burns at like 1500 degrees
