I mostly just read here to find out fixes/tips for my car. On the rare occasion I have something useful to post, I do. Ryan and yaycandy just f this forum up.

I have yet to see the 10 second FWD gen-4 that yaycandy has referenced multiple times.

I must've missed that, still not seeing where you mentioned B16s, but if I missed that then ignore everything I've said since I took this entire conversation as being whether the Explorer strut offering would fit the SHO, which has been discussed on here several times so I assumed we were revisiting the topic.

Carry on...
Sorry I must have deleted that particular comment, but yeah, I wouldn't start a whole new thread for something thats been visited, but I have yet to find the measurements for the the OEM shocks/struts anywhere and THAT was the whole point of the thread if you look at the original comment

Lol you just dont fully understand whats going on. I sound like an ******* cause I don't care about how I talk, but these guys are constantly clogging up question threads with totally irrelevant information and constantly trying to assume what information you want instead of just responding to what you actually ask, so yeah I get real tired real fast of them being idiots and wasting everyones time with their nonsense

Just remember most of us have been here a long time and have centuries of combined experience.

If you ask a question expect to get more than you asked for, that's how the internet works. Don't get so bent up when you don't get the answer you're looking for.
I wouldn't mind all the other info if anyone would ever actually answer the ****** question. But everyone wants to offer a million other useless tidbits, if you don't wanna answer my question thats fine dont waste everyone's time with the other stuff.

I'm sorry, I'm usually the ******* in the room, but for comparison sake wouldn't it be just as easy to get OEM part numbers for the two vehicles and compare???
The other thing that struck me as odd is the rear are only shocks, front are struts. As far as weight, it's a function of the springs. Shocks and struts are just for movement dampening. All you old farts that were teenagers back in the 70's probably know someone that punched the rear air shocks on their Camaro through the upper shock mounts from trying to have them carry the load.
****, if all else fails, email the manufacturer ( ;

Damn, for a minute I thought this was an AK vs AR thread. Time for me to go....****

How are the part numbers gonna help me? I can find those online. The point is trying to figure out if there are other shocks struts that are not sold as fitting this car that actually do. Hence my ORIGINAL question for someone to measure the oem ones and their mounting points

Dude you come here asking for everyone else to do your research for you.

Then Lee offers up to take the measurements you want sometime today. Presumably the man has shit to do and can't run and do it at the snap of your fingers.

But before we can even get to the end of the work day, you're thowing yet another hissy fit and calling everyone retards. Then you're badgering the one guy offering to help you out with needless and incoherent loaded questions, ******** about him "running up in here" with related conversation.

Now the ***** tantrum continues, with you stomping your feet and screaming, wondering why nobody here wants to help you.

I was trying to figure out if some shocks/struts fit and lee came in here talking like he'd already done it and would sell them, then he turns around and says he hasn't even tested them so yeah i was annoyed that makes no sense. Im not the one throwing a tantrum its xsport over there ive just told people to stop wasting my time with stuff thats not asked for over an over its not my fault they keep wanting to start shit with me just cause they get mad when I tell them thats not what i asked.

Not once did I say I had done it. If I proved it out I'd be begging Bilstein for more and selling the **** out of them.

As I, and a lot more people it seems, assumed when you mentioned XSport was that you were looking at the possibility of Explorer Sport struts on the SHO since they have upgraded offerings. Hence why my first sentence in my reply I said they were not coilovers since Bilstein doesn't make coilovers for the D3 platform.

I'm trying to help you, you just need to be more clear about what you're needing and more tactful when you receive something different. No one is on here with the intention of shaming each other for asking questions, there are plenty of Facebook groups for that. But you can't come in hard and abrasive and not expect to get hated for it.

I was asking for measurements on the shocks thats all. You jumped in here and said you had stuff you could ship, indicating that you had already tested it, then when I asked about that you said no you hadn't. I dont get why you would ever even offer them up to me in the first place if you havent actually tested them that why im so confused, you brought them into the conversation and I STILL don't understand why.

I, along with EVERYONE else in this thread, assumed you were talking about the Bilstein B6 struts from the Explorer Sport.
