Why's that? And thank you.GLWS....
Have you asked if you can return them since you never used them,View attachment 14168Brand new, never used livernois upgrades for sale. Bought them in April, procrastinated, and now I would just prefer the money. Reasonable offers only please. Hope everyone is staying healthy. Thank you.

Yes. Their return policy is 30 days and they would not make an exception even with them never being used.Have you asked if you can return them since you never used them,
Looks to me like you weren't too far past the 30 days, not a big deal in my book. They could've worked it out with you. But sounds pretty typical for their customer service...which is lacking.Yes. Their return policy is 30 days and they would not make an exception even with them never being used.
I've seen far more positive than negative on forums and YouTube while researching before the purchase. Plus if nobody wants them I'll just quit procrastinating, install them and enjoy that "stellar" performance lol.Just look around the forum. There are numerous threads about how "stellar" they are.

Well you completely missed all the major parts of how stellar their tuning is, got completely taken to the cleaners, and fell for great marketing.
If you actually did research you would have seen no one recommends them here of or the other Ecoboost Forum. Since you joined today, you also didn't research that you have to pay for a classified post here as well. But alas...I did the research for you.

No trying to be a dick, but..
Yeah, you're both right. My research was definitely inadequate and I confirmed the $300 "licensing" transfer fee when I spoke to them about possibly returning. And to sm105k, not a dick. Just dropping some knowledge and helping me learn a tough lesson. Wish I woulda joined here before and simply asked around a bit first. Live and learn...The other bad news is that for someone else to use the tuner, they would probably have to pay LMS a $300 transfer fee since you are the one that bought it. They might not since you never actually got a tune from them but I doubt it. You might want to double check with them just so you know for sure.
I doubt on a good day you could even recoup half the cost sad to say.
Oh and my bad about the paying for a classified post thing. Seemed like that bothered you a bit.Well you completely missed all the major parts of how stellar their tuning is, got completely taken to the cleaners, and fell for great marketing.

Might do that. All the stuff sm105k was sending links too has me a bit paranoid about blowing a fuel pump or something.Might as well throw it on your car and get some enjoyment out of the money you spent. Realistically the price any of that will fetch on the used market will not change much whether they are brand new in the box or have several thousand miles of use on them. Once you buy that stuff from the vendor it's pretty much worth what it's worth.

I just replaced the spark plugs about 1k miles ago, in anticipation of this mod, but I can check the gap on them based on what you recommended. I appreciate the advice and the reassurance my car won't explode lol. You guys have been really helpful and I genuinely appreciate it. Any further advice or recommendations are always welcome. Especially from people who seem to have pretty extensive experience with this stuff. I also have zero intentions of running the car hard. An occasional WOT if I'm first at a green light and just generally making the, already beast of a car, a little more fun to drive. All of those issues were with their V11 tune. The hard feelings aren't really even from the tune problems, more so the way that they handled it. Each person that contacted them was told they were the only one having the issue, and it must be something with their car. Thank goodness for forums and the spread of information right? They also swore for a long time that catch cans were not needed and argued against them a good bit on these forums, then one day what do you know they have a catch can for sale and recommend it. It's one of those things where once your word is no good, what else do you have?
My car actually ran fine with the V11 tune until I added downpipes. After that it just did not want to shift into 2nd gear any time I would do a WOT pull from zero.
I only ran the V17 recently for a couple days, but the only issue I had was it seemed to take longer than it should have to shift into 2nd gear when I had traction control turned on. If you load it up and test that out and it works, you should be ok. You'll be a little slower than most tuned sho's with same mods, but honestly you don't need to worry about blowing up anything major any more than if you were leaving your car stock.
I would recommend at the very least pulling your spark plugs and making sure they are gapped to .030 since I don't see those on your invoice. Most people put brand new ones in when tuning their car. If the gap is too wide you can get misfires.
I've seen far more positive than negative on forums and YouTube while researching before the purchase. Plus if nobody wants them I'll just quit procrastinating, install them and enjoy that "stellar" performance lol.
If you don't have any luck selling it, just install it. You can run a lower octane tune (91) and the car will perform better than it already does. Like @ridered74 said, just make sure you're gapped .028-.030 with the spark plugs.I just replaced the spark plugs about 1k miles ago, in anticipation of this mod, but I can check the gap on them based on what you recommended.
