Haven't really done much with COVID, but started stockpiling some more parts.

Pulled a page from the @SM105K playbook and ordered a Magnaflow 2.5" X-pipe and Vibrant flanges to adapt both to the Stainless Works downpipes and then to the factory axleback. I also ordered a new set of quad tips, as I started to feel that the standard Y layout just wouldn't work with the factory muffler setup.

As soon as my exhaust guy reopens for business will do some mockup and start cutting. Should end up with a modular setup with less restrictions but stock sound.

Basically me to my wife

Sounds about right waiting for my stimulus check and then I got to buy a new motor. I found it was cheaper to get a used low Mile motor instead of tearing apart my motor to change Water pump, oil pump and timing chain excetera.

Makes sense to me. I know my motor is going to give at some point so figured I'd procrastinate the water pump and timing chain for a new one too lol.

You have to turn in a core or are you going to keep the original one as a spare?

I wanted to start a thread for everyone to post those little or maybe even big things we do with our cars everyday. Could be something as small as "I washed my car today" or maybe something a little bigger like "here's a picture of my new tint" or maybe something even bigger like, "check out my new pair of turbo's".

It help keeps me excited about my car and sometimes it gives me some pretty good idea's!

I really enjoy reading and seeing pictures of those little things we all do to our rides, but I know sometimes we don't feel like taking the time to start a new thread/post.

Hello
I am new and when i try to post a question it requires me to put a member link in to send the post. how do i start a conversation in the general posting that goes to everyone?

Also
My backup camera is having issues. from upside down to wavy or no picture at all and then sometimes it works perfect. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Thanks

first off, welcome to the group! when you select "Start a Conversation" this is actually to send a private message to another member.

To start a thread, go to the appropriate forum and at the very top in the Forum Chain you'll see a button that says "Post New Thread"

You can use this to start a public thread. Please make one to in the introduction page if you haven't already.

As for the backup camera, this seems to be more common than you would expect. Some people are able to resolve it by unhooked the negative battery terminal for 15 minutes to reboot the module, but others end up having to replace the camera itself.

I once had weird colors, lines and "interference", fixed mine by reconnecting the plug under the trunk lid finisher, guess the connection was not great after so many years.
