Quick question, I can find what everyone is using for gasoline? I've been using just 87 unleaded but would it be beneficial to utilize mid grade or premium... I tend to get a smell when I floor it or go decently fast for a small amount of time, and I was told that happens with crap gas. But also I thought I was told not to run premium.


Additionally, after your tranny fluid change, do you all plug it up and change or refresh the settings for the transmission ? I am not the best with remembering the names of things but I can certainly describe it lol, tha is

I've used only premium fuel (91 octane US) in my SHO since new - and have consistently hit 25 MPG, or more, on the readout.

No changes needed after a tranny fluid change. Just button her up and drive.

That's highway mileage right? I only live 14 minutes from work so I don't get a lot of highway miles. On 93 octane I average 19-20 miles.

Also I drive for several weeks/months before I reset my average. Some people do it with every tank but I feel like that gives a false reading as I can easily reset and hit the highway and get into the lower/mid 20's. Or I can reset and drive it hard and get lower mileage.

On E30 at 82 mph I average right at 20 mpg.

In town on E30....11 mpg.

Sounds about right. Between a mix of the 2, I'm usually right around the 15-16 MPG average

I always put in 93 and get around 25mpg cruising on tqe road at 65-70.

I noticed this 5 or 6 posts back that the OP has ghosted this thread. I think it's just fricken weird

I stopped getting notifications that there were anyone responding to this thread, my bad. I just noticed today because I been scoping out different threads to possibly figure out what is going on with my transmission

Maybe i'll switch to 93 then. If it makes my car perform better. I drive mostly on the hwy.
