Its official, the front mount is in, I did run into a snag once it was all together, forgot to tighten up 1 clamp behind the bumper so there is a boost leak. I will more than likely be addressing that tomorrow and do a few full boost pulls and let you all know how it goes!

Still looking for a wax/ceramic technology or detail spray thats a bit less tacky.

I swore I'd never own a black car for this exact reason. Well, here I am with a black car, shooting myself in the face to keep it clean :(

I bought my first black car in 2015, it was brand new so I chose the color :(. After a few months I swore I would never buy a black car again... then bought two more (used)... o_O, the easiest thing to compromise (for me) when buying used is the color.

But black cars look very nice when you are driving back from the car wash.

No color will ever look as good as a fresh waxed, streak free, black car. The closer you get the better it looks. The opposite can be said about white cars. They good clean, don't get me wrong, but even a dirty white car looks pretty good from 20' away. But a white car will never have that shine/reflection that a black car does.

I've owned both and it depended on which day of the week/season it was to which color was my favorite. This is my first red car and I must say I'm pretty happy with how it hides imperfections but still has a pretty good shine to it.

Today I finished a model draft that replaces the trunk opening button with a plug to allow various types of gauges, scanners etc to be mounted in that location. This uses the OEM mounting tabs and clips so no modification is required and it's completely reversible. If you're wondering where I'm putting the trunk open button, it will be installed where the rear sun shade button currently resides.
