I need to get mine on some scales. I have heard SOO many different numbers on weights. Ford stated 4540lb for fully optioned curb weight.

My 2012 MKS at full weight and me in it(180) was about 4600lbs.

For the most part, yes. I have the EcoBoost Appearance Package and the only two options I don't have is adaptive cruise and auto park. And it was 4617lbs with me in it with a 1/2 tank of gas IIRC.

I'm sure I'll get hate for this but I pulled my stock seats (which weigh 64.5lbs apiece) to install sport seats (which weigh 28lbs apiece). Accounting for the 3lb brackets I needed to fab up to make the sport seats bolt up, this gives me a weight difference of 67 lbs. With the bracket I built, there are only 8 total bolts (13mm and easily reachable) that keep me from swapping back to my stocks for long drives.

Looks great! My wife would be real disappointed if she lost the multi contour seat. Plus I’m getting to old and “fluffy” to fit comfortably into those! But they look great!

Funny you say that, my GF threw a small fit because she turned on the massagers if we were going 2mi down the street.

I can relate. We have Explorer that doesn’t have them. We’ve been using that a lot trying to keep miles ofF the SHO. I’m not out of the garage yet in the SHO and she’s punching at the screen!

My MKS is just over 4600 with me in it. Only option I don't have is adaptive cruise.

No weight reduction, 1/8 tank of fuel, and me in it. I weigh about 250. This was on a certified scale at Wild Horse Pass Raceway. 2013 PP fully loaded.

Ford says the curb weight on these cars is 4,341.

^ That is the type of numbers I've been seeing on these big fat hogs of a car.
